Facts About Fitness and Diet

If you are searching for facts about diet and fitness and you want to get scientific evidence based information about what works and what doesn’t for weight loss and fitness  then you can’t do better than to join Christan Finn’s “Facts About Fitness” membership site where you can read the truth about weight loss and fitness.

Christian Finn has a masters degree with distinction  in exercise science and has lectured at a number of universities and private training organizations around the United Kingdom. He writes about what works and the facts and fads about fitness training, weight loss and the effective use of nutritional supplements.

Most of what passes for “fact” in the health and fitness industry is based on theory and speculation rather than any hard evidence.  As you probably know already, there are plenty of people trying to convince you that they have all the answers about how to lose weight. Most of them don’t. What you will learn from Christian Finn is evidence-based and you can trust it.

So herfacts about fitness and nutritione is what he says about what he can offer you if you join his fitness site :

Well, let me be completely upfront. I don’t have ALL the answers.  But I think you’ll find the answers that I DO have will help you achieve what you want, whether it’s a bigger bench press, a flatter stomach (maybe even “killer” six pack abs) or a few extra miles on the treadmill.

Why should you believe what I have to say? My answer to you is that you SHOULDN’T.  In fact, I’d suggest that you approach my website in exactly the same way that I would if I was in your shoes — with a healthy skepticism and a “show me the proof” attitude.

That’s why most of the articles I write have references at the bottom. This is a list of the research journals, books and other sources that I’ve used to help me put the article together.

Why do I do this? When I talk about the results of a particular study, you don’t have to take my word for it. You can go and check it out for yourself.

One of the best places to get your hands on a goldmine of fat-burning secrets and natural muscle-building techniques that can save you years of wasted time and effort is in research journals. There’s a mass of desirable information out there that few people get to read about in books or magazines.

I’m also a “detail guy.” By the time reports of a study reach your favorite newspaper or magazine, important details about the way it was done are often left out or ignored. The devil, as the saying goes, is in the detail. I’ll do my best to explain exactly what happened in a particular study so you can decide for yourself what the results really mean.

If you sign up for my newsletter, I will occasionally (and by occasionally, I mean VERY occasionally — once every month or two at the most) write to tell you about a fitness product that I think will help you achieve your goals.

Why am I doing this?

The first reason is obviously money. People often wonder how I make a living running a website where much of it, other than the premium content in the Members-Only Area, is freely available. This is how I do it.

However, I’ll only ever recommend a product if it comes with a money-back guarantee. This means that if I recommend crap, and you ask for a full refund, then I lose my commission.

So I’m only going to tell you about the stuff that works. It’s rare that I get involved in any of the big fitness product launches doing the rounds on the Internet these days, mainly because I’m extremely picky about what I recommend.

Unless something is good enough for me to use myself, I won’t recommend it to you either.

I’ll be straight with you. Before you continue, it’s only fair to point out that TFAF is definitely not for everyone.

It certainly won’t please the man or woman who thinks they already know it all. I won’t tell you that you can get in shape by eating as much food as you want or exercising for just “8 minutes in the morning.”

And I won’t promise a magic bullet — as it seems every book on nutrition and exercise seems to do these days — because there isn’t one.

Magazines, books and exercise devices always seem to offer “too-good-to-be-true” results. In truth, they’re promising what can’t be delivered. I’m not going to do that.

Getting in shape requires effort and self discipline. I can give you the “how.” But you need to supply the desire. If you’re the kind of person who wants someone else to do all the work, you might as well stop reading now.

I can’t help you do anything other than learn what to do. It’s only when you apply the information that you’ll get the results you want. And the fact is that a lot of people simply can’t be bothered.  You may be the exception.  If you are, you will see dramatic results. You’ll feel a genuine sense of excitement when you look in the mirror and see a little more muscle here, or a little less fat there.

Your clothes will fit better in all the right places. You’ll be leaner. Your self-esteem will be higher and you’ll feel more confident and attractive. Before you know it, everyone around you will take notice. They will compliment you. Finally, you’ll be able to walk into a crowded room and get the kind of attention that you deserve.

If you’re motivated and prepared to act on what you learn, I can help you get the results you’re looking for. It won’t happen overnight. But, if you stick with me, I’m confident you’ll succeed.

Christian Finn, M.Sc.
