You CAN lose weight and eat as much as you want! Honestly there really is a way to do that even though it is what those many lying diet ads say! You truly can lose weight and keep it off and never feel hungry. Do you want to know how? I bet you do! I hope that you will bear with me when I say that the way is to stop eating animal products.
Please just listen before you decide I am a complete crank. I too would have been sceptical until recently.I have eaten meat all my life and I am now a grandmother (a young one!). The evidence is not known because the farming lobbies are so strong and have such influence.
It isn’t our fault that we are fat it is the food we have been told to eat that is the real cause of the problem. This might sound a bit too dramatic but the scientific research is all there for anyone to read. It is just that it isn’t being given to the public. No-one gets on the TV and says “stop eating animals” they are not good for you!
I have only recently learned about all this and I have to say I am angry. Angry that I haven’t been told about it before and have spent most of my life eating stuff that was not good for me and made me fat. I urge you to read the book that has completely changed my way of eating and that of my husband. I am a registered nurse and my husband is a medical doctor, a specialist in hematology. We understand research papers and stats.
The book that we read is called ‘The China Study’ It is less than $10.00 and it could change your life. Very little money for such important information. Less than all those diet programs and foods we have been buying! Buy it todya then read it and come back here to tell us what you think! Just follow this link:
There is also a diet based on this book. I mentioned it in a previous post. It is called The McDougall Diet but I recommend that you read the China Study first. You have spent years hearing a different story so it is only fair to give another point of view a chance.
If you are still with me maybe you would like to read an article by a the Anglican (ie Episcopalian) Bishop of Dunedin in New Zealand. His has written an in depth review of The China Study which is well worth reading.
Here is a snippet from it:
“One of the troubles with the crowded market in nutrition literature is that people will look at this book and treat it as yet another fad du jour. It deserves better than that, as it might possibly save a few lives. Campbell’s advice is that change in lifestyle needs to be radical, long term and permanent if changes in health are to follow. This is one of the things that distinguishes The China Study from most other nutrition best sellers, and is what makes it likely that most people will try to avoid it.
This is a book that I hope everyone I care about reads. The ones I don’t care about? Well…. have you heard about the Atkins diet…..?”
I love the last bit re Atkins! Did you hear that the coroner said Atkins was obese and had heart problems?
